The Vedic Culture Centre/ Sri Ram Mandir Institution whose seed, was sown by the Revered Sriman Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar (Pedda swamyvaru Badrinath) and was nurtured to its present state of Eminence by Late Sri Sundarajan Ramaswamy and a dedicated team of volunteers also owes gratitude to all the bhaktas who have been wholeheartedly participating in all the temple activities since its inception.
The institution is dedicated to serving devotees in search of a higher plane of worship as enshrined by Vedic Seers, Azhwars and Sri Vaishnava Acharyas.
We seek to inform all devotees with due reverence that plans are afoot to hold Samprokshanam in 2010.
Samprokshanam is prescribed in temple texts to be performed every 12 years before which time necessary repairs and improvements are effected to the temple.The Samprokshanam is divided into two parts 1. repairs & improvements to temple and 2. 5 Days ceremony involving puja's, yagya's and vedic and divya prabandham recitation.
As on Date painting of the Vimana's and Raja Gopuram is in full swing, to be followed by painting work of the inner temple structure.
The 5 day ceremony is an extensive program involving vedic pandits and seers from the south, material and allied expenses.
